Our journey from the mountains to the sea starts at the top. Awyr is clear mountain air and a still mountain lake. It is our base bar, with nothing added.

THE NAME

Awyr means "air/sky". Say it "OW-ir" ("ow" as in "cow").

SCENT AND FEEL

No added fragrance: no essential oils, no added colour. The vegan bar is cream coloured, with a slight natural cocoa smell from the unrefined cocoa butter. Made with avocado oil, coconut oil and cocoa butter. A creamy, rich lather that feels almost like a lotion. Leaves skin feeling clean and soft.

• 51% avocado oil (of the oils)
• 5% superfat
• Cured for 6 weeks

CARE AND STORAGE

Keep your bar on a draining soap dish, out of the stream of water. Let it dry between uses and it will stay firmer for longer. Store spare bars somewhere cool and dry.

FAQ

Q: What is the difference between the tallow and vegan bars?
A: Tallow bars are tallow, coconut and sweet almond oil. Vegan bars are avocado oil, coconut oil and cocoa butter. Both have the same scent and both feel soft after washing; the vegan bar feels a little more like a lotion.

Q: Is this soap OK for sensitive skin?
A: Everyone's skin is different, so we can't promise how it will suit you. The full ingredients are listed below. We suggest a patch test before first use.

Q: Does Awyr have any fragrance?
